We’re working with a leading commercial business to recruit an experienced Property & Health & Safety Lead — a high-impact, strategic role for someone ready to take ownership of a complex property portfolio and ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance.

This role would suit a hands-on property or facilities management professional with a strong track record in health & safety and a desire to drive high standards in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the management and maintenance of property and facilities across the business
  • Oversee all health & safety standards, policies, and compliance across locations
  • Drive operational efficiencies through effective contractor and vendor management
  • Develop and implement robust maintenance strategies aligned to ISO and legislative standards
  • Lead and develop a small team, promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and a safety-first culture
  • Maintain and report on budgets, ensuring cost-effective and compliant service delivery
  • Monitor risk and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including ISO, IOSH, and NEBOSH

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • British Institute of Facilities Management Level 4 (or equivalent)
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
  • Proven senior experience in property/facilities management
  • Knowledge of construction, plant, and building maintenance
  • Strong contract and budget management skills

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership abilities
  • Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
