Apply for this jobWe are working with a leading fiduciary services organisation to recruit a Risk & Compliance Manager to support the business across its Trust and Funds operations. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to provide regulatory guidance, oversee compliance monitoring and help shape a strong culture of compliance, while managing a small team of three. The role will also hold the positions of Deputy MLCO and Deputy Compliance Officer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Compliance Officer, MLRO and MLCO in maintaining compliance across the Trust and Funds businesses
- Provide regulatory guidance and support to management and staff across the business
- Perform compliance monitoring programmes and prepare relevant reports
- Promote a strong, proactive culture of compliance across Trust and Funds
- Support new business strategies, projects and initiatives, assessing regulatory and compliance risks
- Assist with implementing new and changing regulatory requirements, including policies, procedures, training and controls
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide relevant updates and reporting to the business
- Provide technical support and guidance on Trust and Funds compliance matters, including economic sanctions
- Identify and implement improvements to compliance processes, procedures and operating models
- Maintain awareness of industry developments and external best practice
- Lead and develop a small team of three, supporting performance and technical development
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum ICA Diploma or equivalent relevant qualification
- Experience within Trust and Funds Compliance
- Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory and legal requirements
- Excellent knowledge of economic sanctions and their application within financial services
- Experience providing sanctions guidance to staff and senior management
- Hold, or be studying towards, a recognised relevant professional qualification

- Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
