We have a strong opportunity for an ambitious Risk & Compliance professional seeking a genuine path for progression within a well-established financial services organisation. The role offers a clear development pathway, close mentorship from the Head of Risk & Compliance, and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a respected business.

Appointed at Assistant Manager or Manager level, the successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Risk & Compliance and gain broad exposure across risk, compliance and regulatory matters. Over time, there is a clear opportunity to develop towards a Deputy MLCO position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the delivery and ongoing enhancement of the firm’s Risk & Compliance framework
• Assist with regulatory monitoring, reporting and policy development
• Support AML/CFT processes, including reviews, monitoring and escalation where required
• Contribute to internal risk assessments and compliance reviews
• Assist with regulatory filings and engagement with regulators
• Support business areas with compliance guidance and best practice
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting
• Stay informed of regulatory developments and assess impact on the business

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Experience in a Risk & Compliance role within financial services
• Suitable for candidates at Assistant Manager or Manager level
• Working knowledge of AML/CFT, regulatory obligations and compliance frameworks
• Willingness and ambition to work towards becoming a Deputy MLCO
• Relevant professional qualifications or progress toward them would be beneficial
