We are working with a prestigious Family Office seeking an experienced Senior Analyst – Private Financial Planning & Analysis to support the financial planning and reporting of the family’s private affairs, based in Turkey. Working closely with the Financial Controller – Private and CFO, the successful candidate will provide clear insight into expenditure, budget performance, cost trends and future cash requirements across a diverse range of private assets, properties and lifestyle activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare annual private expenditure budgets covering family members, residences, household operations, lifestyle assets, travel, staff, security, maintenance and family support
• Maintain rolling forecasts for private cash requirements and future expenditure
• Analyse actual spending against budget, identify variances and provide clear explanations and insights
• Prepare monthly and quarterly private expense reports for the Financial Controller – Private and CFO
• Monitor cost trends across properties, households, art, vehicles, yachts, aircraft, travel, events and family support
• Support financial planning and analysis for major private projects
• Coordinate with the Chief Accountant – Personal to ensure reporting data is accurate, complete and appropriately classified
• Work closely with the Accounts Payable & Treasury Controller – Private to understand upcoming payment requirements and future cash needs
• Prepare dashboards, KPIs and concise financial summaries for management and family review
• Identify unusual spending patterns, budget overruns, duplicate costs and potential opportunities for improved cost management
• Support scenario analysis and modelling to assess future private liquidity requirements
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling family spending, lifestyle and personal financial information

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline
• Previous experience within financial planning and analysis, private finance, family office or management reporting environments
• Experience supporting confidential private expenditure analysis is highly desirable
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, dashboard reporting and cost trend monitoring
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across accounting, accounts payable, treasury and private finance functions
• Experience analysing complex or diverse expenditure across multiple cost centres, assets or projects would be advantageous
