Our client is seeking a Senior Associate – Compliance & Risk to provide high-quality support and guidance to their local business, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and codes of practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with all internal policies and procedures
• Provide advice & guidance to the business
• Carry out due diligence reviews
• Register maintenance
• Complete Client screening and associated monitoring activities
• Carry out data remediation
• Assist with closure activities
• Assist with the compliance monitoring programme (testing) risk and make recommendations
• Carry out periodic reviews

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A good understanding of fiduciary services
• Knowledge of client structures eg: corporates, trusts, foundations, and the associated due diligence requirements
• A good understanding of the Jersey Anti-Money Laundering, Countering of Terrorist Financing & Countering of Proliferation Financing regime
• Preferably hold a relevant compliance qualification eg: ICA
• Ideally have experience of Navision, Microsoft office and RiskScreen
