KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the client entity database (ViewPoint, Quickbooks, Yardi)
• Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, monthly, quarterly and bi-annual reports, and net asset valuations
• Ensure you have a detailed understanding of the transactions and clients you're dealing with and liaise with your line manager on a regular basis
• Collaborate with colleagues and team members to ensure that client expectations and accounting deadlines are properly managed
• Ensure consistency of accounting service levels across all clients and deal swiftly with any queries
• Show an awareness of the integration of Governance Services across jurisdictions and also with the law firm, operating in a unified, consistent and co-ordinated manner
• Be familiar with and act at all times in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Preferably be part qualified ACCA/ACA, currently studying or qualified by relevant experience with good up to date technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, including practical application 
• Demonstrable practical and technical knowledge of accounting systems, particularly Viewpoint would be an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in the use of MS Excel, is also expected
