We are working with a leading financial services organisation seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a fund accounting professional with a strong technical foundation and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience within a funds environment, with good knowledge of accounts preparation and a strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high-quality fund accounting and administration services to a portfolio of clients
• Prepare and review financial information and accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards
• Support the preparation of fund financial statements and associated reporting
• Ensure client deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and business contacts
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and client service
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving issues and completing tasks independently
• Ensure work is carried out in line with relevant regulatory, accounting and internal requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a funds environment at a similar level
• Good knowledge and demonstrable experience of basic accounts preparation
• Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Working towards or holding a professional accountancy qualification such as ACA or ACCA
• Strong understanding of the requirements of delivering quality client service
• Previous experience working with fund structures and financial reporting
