Senior HR Officer

You will work closely with the HR Manager to deliver a high-quality, efficient HR service across the firm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing accurate and timely advice to employees and managers
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, development planning, and offboarding
- Oversee HR administration, ensuring records, policies and documentation are up to date and compliant
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives, including training bookings, follow-up and tracking attendance
- Assist with employee relations matters by providing guidance, preparing documentation and attending meetings as required
- Maintain HR systems and produce reports to support decision-making
- Support HR-led projects, process improvements, and policy updates
- Work closely with senior leadership to drive a positive, high-performance culture
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3–5 years’ experience in HR, ideally within a law firm or wider professional services environment
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) preferred
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and best practice
- Experience managing confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of tasks
