This is a pivotal position combining hands-on ledger and reporting responsibilities with strategic business partnering, supporting Partners, Fee Earners, and Heads of Department to drive financial performance and commercial outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a Finance Business Partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge, and guidance
• Maintain ownership of the general ledger, core financial reporting, and management accounts
• Provide forward-looking analysis and business planning support to inform strategic decisions
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Managers’ group to ensure a cohesive and high-performing finance function
• Support the development and improvement of reporting tools, dashboards, and processes

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering
• Experience within professional services or a similar complex organisation
• Proven ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with dashboarding tools and SQL queries advantageous
