We are partnering with a dynamic and forward-thinking firm to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified accountant to play a central role in driving the firm’s financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and building a pathway toward a future Head of Finance position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Act as a Finance Business Partner, working closely with Partners, Fee Earners, and Heads of Department to provide insight, challenge, and guidance that strengthens commercial outcomes
• Take hands-on ownership of ledger management, month-end and year-end reporting, and core financial reporting processes
• Deliver forward-looking analysis, budgeting, and business planning to support strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with the Finance Managers’ group to ensure a cohesive, high-performing Finance function
• Provide clear, actionable financial information to non-financial stakeholders to support informed decision-making
• Support process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements where appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis
• Proven ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple functions
• Experience with dashboarding tools and SQL queries is an advantage

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, comfortable handling large datasets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with non-financial colleagues confidently
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of driving continuous improvement in finance processes
• Collaborative team player, able to work closely with peers across the Finance function
• Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
