We have an excellent opportunity to join a leading financial services company as a Senior Manager in the Compensation & Payroll team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the payroll and benefits provision across multiple jurisdictions, managing the payroll and benefits team, and managing relationships with external providers.

  • Responsible for the oversight and provision of the Group’s payroll function across multiple jurisdictions
  • Review and approve monthly payroll adjustments, reports, internal sign off documents and payments, ensuring data and calculations are accurate and processes are completed on time
  • Co-ordinate the provision of a monthly payroll timeline in line with relevant cut-off dates and outsourcing timelines for each jurisdiction
  • Ensure payroll is administered in accordance with company processes and controls
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance to the team on complex payroll queries
  • Review and interpret tax advice in relation the Group’s Shared Ownerships schemes
  • Respond and resolve payroll-related queries from employees, management and outsourced payroll providers in a professional and timely manner
  • Oversee the relationships with external payroll providers
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate funding reconciliations and instructions
  • Co-ordinate the monitoring of multiple bank accounts to ensure that payroll funding is in place
  • Ensure all statutory or jurisdictional requirements are met
  • Analyse payroll issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Ensure accurate and clearly defined payroll records are maintained


  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, or currently working towards accountancy qualification
  • Previous payroll experience
  • Strong analytical & excel skills
