Apply for this jobWe’re working exclusively with a growing and forward-thinking business in Jersey to recruit a Senior Operations Manager. This is a broad and varied role suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on with the day-to-day running of a business, while also bringing a modern, digitally confident mindset to improving how things operate.
Importantly, the role offers flexibility, with hours ranging from 20 hours per week up to full time (35 hours), depending on the candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring systems and processes run efficiently
- Take a hands-on approach to facilities management, ensuring the office environment and infrastructure are well maintained
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through digital tools
- Promote the effective use of AI and technology and operational systems to maximise productivity and collaboration
- Manage relationships with suppliers, service providers and external partners
- Responsible for the delivery of digital skills training
- Provide guidance on marketing priorities
- Ensure consistent brand management and brand standards across all communications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in an operations, office management or operational leadership role
- Knowledge of workplace health & safety practices and DSE assessments
- Experience overseeing facilities or office operations in a hands-on capacity
- Strong digital literacy
- Exposure to marketing activities or supporting marketing teams within a business environment
- Naturally digitally confident
