KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide advice and support on sanctions compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Help clients and internal teams navigate complex risk and compliance frameworks.
- Review and assess regulatory exposure and ensure controls are effective.
- Participate in compliance reviews and risk assessments.
- Support the business in implementing best practices and mitigating sanctions-related risks.
- Keep up to date with changes in sanctions regimes and related guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, or legal equivalent
- ICA Certificate, ACAMS, or equivalent compliance qualification is highly desirable
- Prior experience in compliance monitoring, audit, or internal audit within the Channel Islands
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Strong analytical mindset with a high attention to detail
- Confidence in interpreting and applying regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise and influence stakeholders
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic regulatory landscape
- Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
