Our client, a leading international provider of corporate, trust, tax, accounting, and fund administration services, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Trust Manager to join their team. As the Senior Trust Manager, you will provide oversight, day-to-day management, and cohesive leadership to the Trust team. Your primary responsibility will be to liaise with the trust team on all day-to-day matters. You will also facilitate staff development through guidance, training, and performance feedback, ensuring that the team delivers the highest standards of service to clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a high level of client service and appropriate levels of client relationship
  • Assist with group organisation and the control of workflows, working with directors and other managers to ensure work is carried out in an orderly and timely fashion
  • Be involved with complex and bespoke services provided to the fiduciary entities, ensuring that risks are properly identified
  • Working closely with the Head of Private Wealth to focus on achieving long term growth, profitability, and improved market penetration
  • Overall responsibility for a team of individuals who administer a complex portfolio of fiduciary entities
  • Ensure all correspondence and other communication is attended to professionally and promptly
  • Work with the team to ensure that the firms KPI’s are met by the individual team members
  • Assist in developing the business of the company by identifying new business opportunities for the company
  • Monitor accounts preparation, billing, and periodic reviews for own portfolio
  • Monitor investment portfolio valuations
  • Monitor individual time charging targets and write offs and individual fee invoices generated and monitor debts
  • Sign documents as a B Authorised signatory where applicable
  • Attend meetings with clients and have a willingness to travel outside of Jersey on occasions
  • Liaise with intermediaries, investment brokers, investment managers and third parties

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong knowledge of trust, company, and fiduciary structures through dedicated experience in industry
  • Qualified in STEP, CGI, ACCA or similar professional qualification, or working towards the same

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Proactive and forward-thinking with the ability to deal with tasks independently
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proven experience and ability to lead a team and assist with training and development of team members
  • Knowledge and understand of all related compliance, risk and governance requirements for Jersey structures
  • Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
